Alcohol Ink Online-Course

The wish to build something new drives the learning of new skills. A while ago, I started studying alcohol ink based painting technique. I fell in love with it for the wealth of shades and transparency it expresses. My learning process was sustained by Polina Filippova, who taught me this fascinating technique through her online course.

I purchased both the Basic & Pro classes. Best online classes ever. Very educational, professional & inspiring. Only criticism is I feel the access should be longer. With everything going on in the world & individual lives, there is no way to predict what 6 months is perfect to devote to an online class, allowing the most time to focus on the classes. I would like to refer back to the Basic & Pro simultaneously without worrying about my deadline approaching.

I have been an artist my whole life, so I am not new to art. But the alcohol inks are very different from the other media I normally use. I purchased your basic course just a few days ago. I saw almost all of the videos, some I watched a few times, to closely pay attention to your color blending and drying motion. Thank you for putting all the information together. I am still new to alcohol inks. I started working with them two weeks ago. Before I came across your Instagram account, I saw many, many videos on IG, YouTube and other online platforms. But still wanted to see what you would offer in your online course, and this is why I purchased it. Your videos are great, all the info you shared on safety, supplies, techniques, varnishing and framing is invaluable. I learned new things. You said you have been doing your art creations with the alcohol inks for two years, and it definitely shows. You have perfected your techniques, your compositions are lovely and color combinations show experience and also your personal style.

This has been a fun learning experience. I love that it's on my time since I'm a mother of three and have a two year old. I purchased this class online to further my knowledge in working with alcohol inks and continue to educate myself on supplies and equipment. I love how you explain the difference in inks available as well as surfaces to paint on. I now see why I was having trouble creating certain effects and I was even able to spend my money on products you recommended versus over spending on wrong or ineffective supplies. You've saved me money and the hassle of buying more than needed right now. I'm still working on accomplishing certain techniques in some videos that are more advanced but I am getting the hang of it. I now see you must have lots of patience and time scheduled to get the best results of your work!!! Thank you for offering these online tutorials to newer students looking to master and create their own artwork. Looking forward to see what else you have in store for us!

Polina is amazing at explaining each technique, she gives great tips and helps us understand the whole alcohol ink technique. The quality of the videos are amazing, which helps a lot to see what she is doing.
